Programmers' slang: how to understand IT specialists

When IT specialists talk about professional topics, it seems that they are speaking a foreign language. It's all about a lot of slang words and phrases, mostly taken from English.

So, here is a list of words and phrases that programmers often use in their speech.

Approve (from English approve)

Approval or approval of something (project or task).

Attach (from English. attachment)
